 With its formation in 2000, the Northern Pacific Hockey League consisted of six teams located in Oregon, Washington, the Yukon Territory and Alaska.
Since the 2000-2001 inaugural season there has been changes. There are now 13 teams located in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. With the growth of the league focused eastward ... there are no longer any teams located north of the border.
